Wingman and Carlos cannot be beat! Carlos is the ultimate host and guide. His knowledge of the city combined with his hospitality makes your trip unforgettable. He knows all of the best spots to take you and your family/friends. They provided us with everything including transportation, dining, entertainment, tours and an inside look at Medellin and the surrounding attractions. He helped us to exchange currency and interpreted for us when necessary. We even did some nightlife together.      Verified Guatape Adventure with Wingman Adventures
Our trip was so fun! It would have been boring without Carlos. Carlos is bilingual/fluent in both English & Spanish. My family of 3 went to Guatape and he made the journey there and back equally as fun as Guatape. We had an excellent local (paisa) breakfast. We stopped at a place in El Peñol where I bought souvenirs. We went to the rock. We also had lunch downtown Guatape. I was able to do some shopping on the way back, and buy a handmade wooden coat hanger. His personality is perfect for tourism! Tuve una gran experiencia cuando Carlos de Wingman Adventours me mostró Medellín y sus alrededores. Es un gran tipo y tiene un gran conocimiento sobre el país de Colombia y su historia y cultura. Cuando fui a Colombia y me reuní con Carlos por primera vez, era la primera vez que viajaba solo fuera de los Estados Unidos, y Carlos me saludó con una sonrisa de bienvenida y me hizo sentir a gusto y cómodo, y me dio la información que Necesitaba saber para pasar un buen rato y mantenerme a salvo, ya que viajaba solo. I had such a great experience having Carlos from Wingman Adventours show me around Medellin and the surrounding area. He is such a great guy and has a wealth of knowledge about the country of Colombia and its history and culture. When I went to Colombia and met with Carlos for the first time, it was my first time traveling outside of the United States alone, and Carlos greeted me with a welcoming smile and made me feel at ease and comfortable, and gave me the information that I needed to know to have a good time and stay safe since I was traveling alone. I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide to show me around Colombia and I made a lifelong friend when I met Carlos and I have used his services a second time as well. I highly recommend contacting Carlos from Wingman Adventours to show you all the amazing sights of Colombia and the hidden gems that you won't see with other tour guides. Carlos lived in Miami, Florida for many years so he speaks great English and Spanish so you don't have to feel nervous if you don't speak Spanish so well but it does help to know Spanish if you are traveling to Latin America.      Verified Most amazing time ever!
Carlos is incredible. Our trip wouldn’t have been what it was if it wasn’t for him. He’s knowledgeable and knows the best spots to take you. He was so nice and welcoming that we all felt like family. He worked with us to plan our days out and make sure we had time to see and explore everything we wanted. The Pablo tour is a must! Also if you ask nicely he will take you to the best empanada spot!      Verified Medellin Professional Private Tour Guide
I went to Medellin Colombia on July 22, 2021 with my partner and hired Carlos Perez with Wingman Adventour to take us on multiple tours.
Wow! Was I glad I did.
Carlos is exceptionally knowledgeable and professional.
He is passionate about his country and it's history.
He grew up in Miami so he speaks perfect English and Spanish.
He drove us in a private car, but has availability to go in larger vehicles and buses for large parties.
He picked us up from the airport on time and ready. The prices he charged were much less than taking a taxi from the airport. (By half)
We stopped and saw a waterfall and had lunch at a restaurant he recommended.
The food was FABULOUS and cheap, cheap, cheap. Like $3.50 a plate for steak cheap.
The next day we took a city tour including Communa 13 and a Pablo Escobar tour.
His knowledge of the area and events was amazing.
I met other travelers on the plane who took the same tours with other operators and was telling them about the history that Carlos told me and they had no idea. Their tour operator did not tell them a fraction of what we learned from Carlos.
The following day we went to Santa Fe de Antioquia, a charming colonial city just outside of Medellin. Cobblestone streets, tamarind candles, 500 year old buildings and Metropolitan Cathedral. Again he found an incredible restaurant where we had the bandejas paisas, the typical meal for lunch consisting of steak, chicken or chicharrone, salad, rice, beans and fried banana. Delicious.. and CHEAP!
The next day wen went to Guatape. Guatape is an adorable little city on the lake about an hour outside of Medellin. Cobblestone streets, tons of tiny shops and restaurants and bars, all decorated and colorful. One street had umbrellas hung overhead! What a great photo op! 
But the real reason to go there is for the Piedra de Guatape. The rock!
At 7,000 feet, it's high! But once there you can climb 760 steps to the top!
Amazing views, great, great trip.
At all points, Carlos was professional, helpful, friendly, accommodating and I think quite reasonable for his services.
I'll guarantee you that my trip would have been much less interesting without him.
Carlos Perez and Wingman Adventours is a must have if you are visiting Medellin.

I reached out to him via what’s app and he was always available and answered all my questions. He was able to cram everything we had on our agenda in 2.5 days! THANK YOU SO MUCH for this!! His tours feel like you’re with a family member, very cool, very personable, very helpful to us. He knew all the cool spots to go to and the pictures to take while on tours. You will NOT be disappointed. Carlos, we will be back one day again to do even more! Carlos spoke English fluently and made great suggestions on what to do and see. He took me to lunch places that had amazing food for $3.50 a plate and was always knowledgeable and friendly.
He is exceptionally knowledgeable about Medellin and passionate about the beauty and safety of the city. We took a city tour including Communa 13 and also a Pablo Escobar Tour.
I have mobility issues and he was always accommodating with getting me as close to where we needed to be and finding places that were easy to navigate.
The next day we went by car to Santa Fe De Antioquia. A charming colonial city with cobblestone streets and extremely old buildings.  We had a great tour and a fantastic lunch!
The next day we went to Guatape. If you have never been to Guatape, it is a "Must do". Surrounded by a huge lake, the Piedra de Guatape is a HUGE 7,000 feet tall monolithic rock which takes 800 steps to climb. Unbelievable, but totally worth it. Again, we had a fantastic lunch at a restaurant right on the edge of the lake overlooking the rock. Magical.. and cheap! Again, $3.50 for a HUGE plate of food including steak, egg, rice, beans, salad, banana, drinks.. incredible.
The trip I took literally could not have gone better.
It is solely thanks to the great work of Carlos and Wingman Adventours.
He is incredibly professional, clean, organized, respectful and helpful.
Anything you need? He can make it happen.
